"It takes much time to kill a tree" why does the poet think so? Do you support the poet's view? If so, why and if not,so the reason?

"On killing a tree''begins with the line: "It takes much time to kill a tree". The poet gives a logical explanation of his statement.
A full grown tree takes a long time to come to its fuller form. With boughs and branches, fruits and flowers it's huge structure stands solide on earth. It has grown consuming earth, absorbing years of sunlight, our and water. Hence a simple jab of knife cannot kill it. Again the hack and chop cannot destroy the tree. All this leaders the poet say that " it takes much time to kill a tree".
There is no question of holding any reverse opinion. A tree is too strong to be killed easily. It's source of strength lies hidden in the earth. That's why if we want to kill it, we are to uproot it and uproot ting a tree is not a matter of moment.
